Timothy O'Connor Cross-Country

Hello all!

We have three months worth of photos to go though so let’s get started!

Merry Christmas everyone and I hope this page finds you in good heath and spirits that will carry on into the New Year!!

This is a photo of Connie taking a flying lesson at Red Stewart Airfield. She is flying a vintage 1940's Aeronca Champ.

This is a photo of a landscaper that is burning large piles of leaves. That would not be bad except that this was during the worst drought the area

Here are two more photos taken during the drought. The second photo is of one of the boat ramps at East Fork State Park's lake.

This scene was quite a surprise. In all of the years I have been boating and flying over the Ohio I have never seen the river as calm and still.

Here you can see the sky clearly mirrored in the river.

A very lucky shot capturing a small cloud, a starburst sun and my rotor blade against a clear blue sky

In contrast this photo shows a line of clouds marching across the sky as a cold front moves in.

Apparently, this rink's advertising department feels pilots are an untapped market.

This photo was selected as a category winner in the Little Miami Watershed Photo Contest.

The prize was $100 and the photo will be on exhibit at the Cincinnati Museum Center and the Dayton Art Institute

Connie and I drove to the state capital to receive an award

from the Ohio Environmental Council for our work with volunteer organizations monitoring and protecting the Little Miami River watershed and National Scenic Waterways.

Thank you for viewing my photos!
